Last year, 2020, was a year of transition for Holonomics. Research carried out by Julian Barbour of the University of Oxford, Tim Koslowski of the University of New Brunswick and Flavio Mercati of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics suggests that it is perhaps gravity rather than thermodynamics which causes time to flow in a single direction.

The research particularly caught my attention since I interviewed Julian Barbour while studying the issue of wholeness in quantum physics as part of my masters degree.
